Colorado Summit Rentals founder Dan Skala has owned a professional cleaning company in Summit County for 10+ years. Several vacation rental owners often complained about their existing property management companies: maintenance issues, poor communication, hidden fees, and more.

More often than not, it was his cleaning staff identifying issues and advising homeowners—not the property management company. After experiencing the shortcomings of many local property management companies first-hand, Dan decided to take his client's advice and start a business that is truly dedicated to satisfying homeowners and guests.
